WEST ICONS MONTESSORI SCHOOL CELEBRATES COLOURFUL FRUIT DAY
West Icons Montessori School has once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting healthy living among learners as it celebrated its annual Fruit Day on campus on 14th November, 2025.
The event was marked by a colourful display of assorted fruits such as bananas, apples, pineapples, mangoes, oranges, watermelons, and grapes.
Speaking at the event, the Head of School noted that Fruit Day is part of the school’s effort to encourage learners to adopt healthy eating habits from a young age. She emphasized that fruits provide essential vitamins and minerals needed for growth, brain development, and overall well-being.

Earlier today, we investigated how RAIN is formed, and we did it right inside our classroom using a simple but fascinating experiment.

What We Did:

We poured hot water into a clear glass jar. The hot water represents the water on the Earth’s surface that gets heated by the sun.
We created a “cloud”: We carefully placed a plate of ice cubes on top of the jar. This acts as the cold air high up in the atmosphere.

Almost immediately, we saw tiny droplets of water form on the bottom of the ice-cold plate and then.. drip down like rain back into the water!

Last week Friday was all about energy, movement, and healthy living as our learners took part in an exciting Aerobics Exercise Day! From warm-up stretches to fun dance moves, our pupils showed amazing spirit, teamwork, and enthusiasm. 🌟
