The idea of establishing a community based senior high school in Abesim was mooted by Nana Kumi Achiaw II and the elders of Abesim in January, 2009.The School was then opened in September 201.The school runs a 3-year secondary programme which prepares students to write the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). In spite of the vision of the school to roll out all the second cycle programmes, the school has started with General Arts, Business and Home Science
