Living an unrighteous life slows down progress, makes one a powerless Christian and vulnerable to the manipulations of the enemy. The Bible tells us clearly that "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." Proverbs 14:34(WEB) Therefore if we want to progress and be exalted in this life, it takes a life of righteousness.

God himself describes Job to Satan as a righteous man, one that fears God and lived a life without sin and there was none to be compared to him(Job 1:8)
This life lived by Job made him so cherished by God to the point that he was blessed abundantly and even the devil could not touch anything that belonged to him until he was given the permission by The Most High.
Even after everything that happened to Job he never gave up on God and in the end he was blessed with a double portion of whatever he lost and died after he had lived his life to the fullest.(Job 42:10,17)

Living a righteous life makes you powerful in the sight of man and God and there is nothing on this earth that can slow you down in anything you want to achieve. You can fast and pray all you want but I tell you, if righteousness is missing in your life, there would never be a change and there would never be an answered prayer.
Beloved let us try as much as we can to be righteous in all our ways and see if our lives would continue to be as slow as they have been.

May you receive the strength and the grace to overcome sin and to live a life of righteousness.

A sheep never marauds, never deceives, magnificently dumb and docile. With a sheepskin on his back, a fox can pass right into the chicken coop. With our enemies around us, we grow lazy. An enemy at our heels sharpens our wits, keeping us focused and alert. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is sensitively essential isn't clearly visible to the naked eye.

The Bible tells us to keep our heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:23(WEB)

Guard your heart against all evil because with the very least mistake, the devil can silently walk into your life and right into your heart to destroy you. Be careful of whom you allow into your life!
