On February 5, 2024, we had an insightful session with Kofi Amponsah-Mensah , Director of Research at the Centre for Biodiversity Conservation Research (CBCR), University of Ghana.

The discussion focused on collaborating with the School of Natural Resources to enhance wildlife monitoring efforts across Ghana’s protected areas.

Protecting Ghana’s wildlife requires teamwork, research, and innovation. We are excited about the possibilities this collaboration holds for strengthening conservation efforts and ensuring the long-term survival of our incredible biodiversity.

𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗼

Last week Friday, the Dean and several faculty members visited final-year students of the Diploma in Natural Resources Management, who were at Borosanko for a semester-long field practical.

This practical training is a vital component of their education, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations. By engaging directly with the environment and local communities, our students are developing the skills and confidence they need to excel in their future careers in natural resource management.

This experience not only deepens their understanding of conservation practices but also prepares them to become leaders in preserving our planet's precious resources.
