Holic Education Vacation School, a vacation school located at the Anglican Church of Ghana, Sunyani premises, this evening, joined many around the globe to mark World Social Media Day.

The day celebrates all relationships that people have forged through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other such platforms.

At a short ceremony at the Anglican Church of Ghana premises , Emmanuel Sakyi Afosah, a tutor at Holic, said that Social media has also given career opportunities to a lot of people.

“Social media does not only connect people with family and friends ,but several people actually make a living out of it”– Mr Afosah added

He went further to say that Social Media Day was launched by Mashable, an entertainment and multi-platform media business, back in 2010.
