Pong-Tamale Experimental JHS is a public Junior High School located in the Pong-Tamale community in the savelugu municipality of the Northern Region of Ghana.

Discipline is our hallmark and that is what propel us to achieve success.

Earlier today, we distributed learning materials to some selected students who are at risk of dropping out of school. This was made possible through Camfed Ghana's Safety Net Fund for selected schools in the Savelugu municipality.
The items included exercise books, school uniforms, shoes, school bags and textbooks. Parents of the beneficiaries were also invited to witness the ocassion.
As a school, we are grateful to Camfed Ghana and the Savelugu Municipal Education Directorate for this kind gesture.
The students were admonished to use the materials for the purpose for which they were provided.

On this ocassion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day Celebration, we join the world to wish all young girls across the globe a Period Friendly World. This year's celebration is anchored on the theme: , underscoring the need for all to help young girls have access to:
1. A period Friendly Social Environment.
2. Period Education.
3. Access to Period Products.
4. Hygienic Facilities, and
5. Menstrual Health Services.
Menstruation is a natural process and must not be seen as a shameful act.

We also want to implore all candidates to stay completely away from all forms of examination malpractices. Please, abide by all the rules governing the examination and speak with decorum to your invigilators and colleagues.

We organized a quiz competition between students in Block A and Block B yesterday on the motion "School Hours Should be Reduced". We were fortunate to have the SISO for the Pong-Tamale circuit together with the newly appointed Basic School Coordinator at the Municipal Education Directorate gracing the ocassion.
The debaters advanced arguments in favour and against the motion for their respective sides. Thanks, to our quiz and debate committee for pulling together another master piece of an event. We look forward to many more of such events.
