Color is powerful. It can affect a mood, draw attention, even cause alarm.
It is hard to imagine the world without color. Without color, we would nearly be blind. Doctors check for health through the color of a patient’s skin. On a late, crisp autumn morning, sparkling frost and leaves changing from green
to vermillion signal a change of seasons. A flush of color in the cheeks of a friend sends a cue of her embarrassment. The street light turns from green to yellow to red. In the Grand Canyon, layers of sediment range in color from black to pale ash. All these signs alert us to change through color.

Yes we reopened for the 2029/2020 academic year and due to honourable task to Make the learners of great End Academy “Great” we have partnered with Mawulolo Youth Network (MYN) to expose our learners to cultural diversity.
We intend to do this by opening our doors to foreign students from various countries to serve as Teaching assistant in our classrooms.
We have our first batch coming in on the 12/11/19, to experience our educational system and also interact with the learners.
The purpose of this project is to eliminate the “color mentality “ from the minds of our learners for them to know that “ NO pMATTER THE COLOR, RACE OR LANGUAGE , EVERY HUMAN IS THE SAME”.

With the initiative of the French club and Ofcos the French teacher, we were graced with an event in French which included a French spelling bee. Again, I was amazed by the kids performance.
They always impress me.

I know we’ve been out for sometime now, but believe a lot had happened this term. And the term really looks positive. The teachers are putting in a lot of work and we do appreciate their effort. We should be sending the form 3’s away in about two weeks. We continue to pray for them and with them.

I leave you with this beautiful drawing by one of the third graders. 😘😘
