UBUNTU - I AM BECAUSE WE ARE

Ubuntu is a Nguni Bantu term meaning "humanity". Nguni Languages can be found in southern Africa. The word Ubuntu is often also translated as "humanity towards others".
It is often used in a more philosophical sense to mean "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity".

However, everybody has their unique way of describing what Ubuntu means. With the transition to democracy in South Africa with Nelson Mandela presidency in 1994, the term has become more widely known outside of Southern Africa, notably popularised to English-language readers by Desmond Tutu.

A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, based from a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.

We presented some few books to show our commitment to this project and community respectively. We are sincerely appeal to you all to aid us in shaping the future generation

We believe children is the future. It is our core value to give the Black Child a sense of pride and teach them what we used to be and who they can be if they say they want to be.
