MEDIA PERSONS CHARGED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE NEW MEDIA

The Eastern Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalist Association, Maxwell Kudekor has called on Journalists to make good use of the new media.
He spoke at a graduation ceremony of some 30 newly trained journalists of the GIS media college in Nsawam.

Speaking as a guest at the ceremony, the astute media person and the Regional Chairman of the GJA, explained that in spite of the many media outlets in the country many graduates from media training institutions do not get jobs and the few who finds one are either under paid or not paid any remuneration at all, these he opined is a worrying situation, however media persons who graduates after training should make good use of the new media to build on oneself rather than sitting ideal after training.
