On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the Vice-Chancellor of C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS), Professor Albert Luguterah, led a delegation to meet with Rev. Dr. Stephen Y. Wengam, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, in Accra.
The purpose of this visit was to express our heartfelt gratitude to the General Superintendent and the Church’s leadership for hosting their 31st Biennial General Council meeting on our campus. We are especially thankful for the generous contribution of GHS280,000.00 and more towards renovating our University Auditorium. This renovation has significantly enhanced the facility, providing a modern and comfortable environment for both academic and community events. On behalf of the Management, Staff, and Students, the Vice-Chancellor extended our sincere thanks for this impactful gesture.
Rev. Dr. Stephen Y. Wengam, in his response, expressed his appreciation to the University for the opportunity to hold their General Council meeting in Navrongo. He noted that such events are typically held in regional capitals but felt that divine intervention guided them to our location. He also expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to their members during the event.
Mr. Gilbert Ansoglenang (Registrar), Mr. Anaamoatulim Anab (Director of Finance) and Mr. Thomas Anaaro (Assistant Transport Officer) were the delegation the Vice-Chancellor led for the visit.
