St. John Bosco's College of Education, Navrongo

As part of the College’s mission of developing competent and compassionate educators with the requisite skills for positive impact, Level 300 students pursuing the JHS BED Agriculture and Home Economics were sent to the ICOUR experimental site to gain practical insights in the field. Specifically to appreciate experimental designs including Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) as it related to a course they are currently undertaking as part of their studies.
Students expressed their deepest appreciation to the ICOUR agronomists, Mr. Daniel Kansake and Dr. Gilbert Dagunga, the Lecturer handling the course for the opportunity and the practicality of the field visit.
We appreciate the ICOUR leadership for this collaboration that has gone on for the past 3 years.

The Professional Development Research and International Relations (PDRIR) Unit of the College organized a 3-day workshop on Quantitative Methodology and Data Analysis with SPSS. The hands-on training covered data entry, management, and the application of relevant descriptive and inferential statistics in research. The College Principal, Prof. Clement Ali Ayarebilla, encouraged staff to apply the skills learned in conducting and publishing their research in reputable peer-reviewed journals. PDRIR Coordinator Dr. Gilbert Dagunga urged participants to practise regularly with the skills learned to become proficient in the use of the software.
