Marry God Aid Ghana (MGA_GH), a non governmental organization, has opened its 1st ever annual SHORT STORY COMPETITION. All talented students in JHS, SHS, COLLEGES, and UNIVERCITIES in Ashanti Region and other regions are called to write and submit a good manuscript (story) for handsome prizes.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. You must be between 14_25 years to enter the competition
2. All SHS leavers at home who fall within the age range can enter the competition
3. All entrants must pay an entry fee at the time of submission.
4. All entrants have the chance to submit up to 3 different manuscripts with different themes. You can enter 1 or 2 or 3 manuscripts. Entry fee for 1 is GHC10, 2 manuscripts is GHC15, 3 manuscripts is GHC20.
5. Write on any theme of your choice and include dialogues.
6. Your manuscripts must be prepared in English.
7. The length of your manuscripts must be between 2000_3000 words.
8. Manuscripts must be typed with this format; font size(12), font style (Times New Roman), Line spacing (2.0)
Manuscripts must be the student's own work and not a story that has been published before.
10. The first page of your manuscripts must have your name, date of birth, age, school, phone numbers, and place of recidence.
11. 1 soft copy of all manuscripts must be sent via e-mail: [email protected] and the hard copy of the manuscripts must be brought to the office of Marry God Aid Ghana at Kumasi, Abuakwa _ Sepaase off Bibiani main road together with your entry fee. I you can't submit it personally, you can call 0201229390 and we will give you a phone number to send your entry fee via mobile money so that you can send the hard copy of your manuscripts via EMS to Marry God Aid Ghana, P. O. Box 11, Abuakwa Ashanti.
10. Closing date for submission is 31st October, 2018 and the winners will be announced in March, 2019.
11. Entry fee is not refundable.
12. Manuscripts will be judged by a panel of 10 qualified judges who are top publishers and writers in Ghana.
13. All decisions made by the judges are final.

1. 10 winners will be selected in all.
2. 1st prize....GHC2000, 2nd prize....GHC1500 3rd prize.....GHC1000 4th prize... GHC700 5th prize.... GHC500 6th prize.... GHC400 7th prize.... GHC300 8th prize.... GHC200 9th prize... GHC100 10th prize... GHC100
3. Certificates will be given to all 10 winners
4. Other educational materials will be given to all 10 winners
5. Winners will be announced on FM stations and contacted on phone so make sure your phone numbers are correct.
6. An award ceremony will be organized in Kumasi present prizes to winners.
7. All 10 winning stories shall be published.
