If at age 10, you didn't travel from Kumasi (Asante Region) to Accra to join 176 finalists from all over the country, vying for the enviable title as a champion of The Spelling Bee - GH 2026 and actually clinch the title, then do live vicariously through Eugene Mensah Osei over the next couple of weeks!!!
Eugene is representing Ghana at 101st Scripps National Spelling Bee being held in Washington, D.C. next week. He met the US Embassy's Chargè d'Affaires earlier this month to bid farewell ; it was such a convivial meeting.
He is Speller 58; look out for him as he flies high the flag of Ghana. Oh, do you know what Eugene’s favourite Gh dish? It's listed in the 3rd picture😍😍😍😍

In preparation to represent Ghana at the world stage in the USA 🇺🇸 Chargé d'Affaires Rolf Olson met with Eugene and members of the Young Educators Foundation at the American Center to commend him on his victory with the championship word
"breviloquent” and wished him all the best in his journey to becoming world champion speller in Washington DC.
