With deep regret, we announce the passing of Madam Joyce Marfo, a former responsible Mathematics Tutor of our noble institution, who's sudden death occured on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 following an embattled ill health.

Madam Joyce's impacts on the lives of our students and contributions toward the growth and development of our school since it's establishment cannot be overemphasized.

She may be gone, but never forgotten!

Let us all bear her bereaved family in prayers.

We are pleased to announce that, Master DANIEL MANAOBA, a former student of ADHIS, has been successfully ELECTED as the ORGANIZING SECRETARY for Health Sciences Students' Association of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, HESA-KNUST.

Brief History About Manaoba ;
📌 Daniel was one of our ardent students who graduated with the first batch of our great school in 2019, along with Master Lucky Agbavor, our first Head Prefect/SRC President.

📌 He was one of the pioneering students of our science department.

📌 He was a member of Boakye Yiadom House, thus House 3, and has represented them very well in many Inter Houses' competitions.

All of us at ADHIS, and the ADOSA fraternity congratulates you and wishes you the very best!

Adomba Lucky represents Ghana in the 5TH GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON THE ELIMINATION OF CHILD LABOUR held in Durban, South Africa.🇿🇦

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, while spending some holidays in Sogakope with my mother following the completion of my clinical internship at Tema General Hospital, I received an unprecedented call from the office of NUGS - National Union of Ghana Students under the auspices of H.E Dennis Appiah Larbi Ampofoh, through the Secretary for Programs and Projects, Miss Bridget Agyemang.

The only thing I could remember from that call was her question “LUCKY, DO YOU HAVE A PASSPORT?” and I responded NO PLEASE! Ladies and Gentlemen, the conversations thenceforth in terms of passport application and visa acquisition has all been between God, NUGS, All-Africa Students UNION AASU, Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation and the 100 Million Campaign Foundation.

Conference kick-started on Sunday, May 15 to Friday May 20, 2022.

It is worth noting that, South Africa happens to be the first African country to ever host the ILO Conference. The 5TH Global Conference On The Elimination Of Child was held in the Kwazulu-Natal Province of Durban at the International Convention Center, ICC, which is the largest convention center in Africa and was attended by top government officials from all over the world, renowned business people, trade unionists and NGOs worldwide.

The conference was organized by the International Labour Organization, ILO, a UN agency on the world of work, promoting jobs and protecting people since 1919.

I would like to specially render my sincerest gratitude to God Almighty who has made this possible, and to also thank H.E Dennis Appiah Larbi-Ampofoh, the 56Th NUGS President for the recommendation. I would like to also thank the Kailash Satyarthi Foundation and the 100 Million Campaign Foundation for making my participation in the conference a momentous one.

Adugyama Senior High School, ADHIS, since her establishment in 2016, now makes her maiden appearance in the National Science and Maths Quiz, NSMQ, come May 19, 2022 at Opoku Ware School in Kumasi.

This brought about the need to equip Team ADHIS in a trial quiz contest with some selected high schools within the Ashanti Regional Education Directorate ahead of the main contest at OWASS.

On Friday, May 6, 2022, Team ADHIS hosted Mankranso SHS, St. Jerome SHS and Barekese SHS and won in a landslide victory over their counterparts. At the end of the contest;

St. Jerome SHS 26 pts
Barekese SHS 20 pts

With this stunning performance, we are hopeful that Team ADHIS will come out victorious on May 19 as we take on Kumasi Wesley Girls' SHS, Presby SHS, Bompata and Agogo State College.
