From the Ashanti Region Inter-School Boys Soccer Competition to the continental stage 🌍⚽🔥
By: Bright Yeboah Taylor 'BYT'
I hyped this youngster during the 2024 Ashanti Region Inter-School Boys Soccer Competition when he helped Kumasi Anglican SHS (SUPER KASS) win the championship after beating Sakafia SHS 1-0 in the final through Peter Baah Jnr’s goal.
SUPER KASS had two “Messi’s” in the team, Attakora Messi, who won the Best Player award and was then a Cornerstone FC player, and Eric Adu Gyamfi, popularly known as “Osei Gapo Messi,” who was playing for Kotoko Babies at Ashanti New Town.
Eric scored two goals in that tournament and showed glimpses of his immense talent.
Now called “Baggio” and currently playing for Division One side Kumasi Ebony FC, Eric Adu Gyamfi is continuing his rise. He scored and won the Best Player award in Ghana U-17’s 2-2 draw against Algeria at the ongoing Africa U-17 Nations Championship in Morocco 🇬🇭🔥
The future looks bright for the youngster.
Go higher, Eric “Baggio” Adu Gyamfi ⚽🌟

At this point can we all agree that our neighbors performance in NSMQ finals are similar to Juventus of Italy in UCL final? Juventus has played 9 finals, won 2 and lost 7. Our neighbors are on course to lose yet another final. This is sad 😢
