Dear Final Year Students of our beloved alma mater,

We extend our heartfelt wishes to you as you embark on the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in Kumasi. Today, you join slightly more than 600,000 candidates from all around Ghana in this significant endeavour.

This marks the final cohort to undergo the BECE as fresh examination is scheduled for 2024 aligning with the implementation of a new curriculum initiated in 2019 by the Education Ministry. As you take this examination, know that you are part of a historic milestone and your hard work and dedication are paving the way for future students. We believe in your abilities and hope you come out achieving remarkable success.

You are not alone in this journey. Your alma mater stands with you, cheering you on every step of the way.

Dear members of the Rockanje School community,

We are delighted to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our very own Yvonne Osei Adobea, a remarkable old student of Rockanje, on her historic achievement as the first-ever female SRC President of KNUST, a milestone reached 71 years after the establishment of the university! Yvonne's journey began at Rockanje School, from where she continued her education at Serwaa Nyarko Senior High School and later to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to pursue her bachelor's degree.

Yvonne's victory in the elections was nothing short of extraordinary as she emerged victorious against five other contenders with an impressive 8,282 votes. Notably, she surpassed her main competitor by a significant margin of approximately 4000 votes. Last year, Yvonne faced defeat in her bid for this position, but her unwavering determination and resilience encouraged her to try again this year. We are incredibly proud of her tenacity which exemplifies the age-old adage "winners don’t quit, and quitters don’t win." Her success stands as a testament to this wise saying.

Currently studying Sociology, Yvonne aims to leverage her education to contribute meaningfully to the development of our society. It is inspiring to witness such a young individual achieve such an extraordinary feat. We have no doubt that she will continue to excel, and we wholeheartedly wish her the best during her tenure of office.

Rockanje presbyterian JHS recently won the maiden edition of the Otumfoɔ education fund regional Science and Maths quiz for Ashanti region.
The finals Which was held at Apatakɛseɛase at the cultural center was amongst :

..And the contest won by the only public School that made it to the finals.

A past student of this noble institution has fallen.
The sudden demise occurred during the course of this week. Information reaching us is that, he was involved in a fatal accident which led to his death.

"Mozeyyy" as popularly known during his days at Rockanje belonged to the 2010 batch.

Our grieved hearts goes out to the family of the deceased. We know how it feels to lose a precious soul at such a very tender age.

Expecting life to be fair to you all the time because you're good is like expecting a lion not consume you because you wouldn't dare eating it up.
We've lost a precious soul who's indeed a brave woman.
A teacher to be precise in this noble institution of ours.
She used to be a teacher in the Kindergarten class till the sudden death occurred on the 7th of August.

Though we've lost but the Heavens just won.
