On September 19, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Kumasi Technical University was pleased to welcome a delegation from the Islamic University in Uganda to explore avenues for academic collaboration.

As the Islamic University in Uganda prepares to inaugurate its Faculty of Engineering and Technology in the 2026/2027 academic year, the institution is seeking to draw on KsTU’s extensive experience in delivering high-quality programmes in Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering.

This engagement reflects a shared commitment to advancing engineering education across Africa through knowledge exchange, capacity building, and strategic partnerships.
