Our maiden Academic Writing Weminar for Graduate Students and Early Career Researchers was held virtually on Zoom. Participants were anchored to uphold high ethical standards in their research activities and publication of their work.
Participants were also cautioned to be on the look out and avoid being trapped by for predatory publishers.

Kumasi Technical University and University of Rostock to sign a long term collaborative research agreement. The partnership will seek to promote research and capacity development in waste management, circular economy and energy generation from waste. This was disclosed when officials from University of Rostock paid a courtesy call on the Vice-chancellor of Kumasi Technical University after his investiture.
Already, the two institutions are working on a six million Euro project to produce 400 kW of electricity from waste and solar energy. The Waste 2 Energy for Sustainable Solutions for Ghana (WASSGhana) project involves several German and Ghanaian partners.
