Look where my explorations led me earlier this year - the traditional kitchen😍. I knew the local setting was something I'll miss for a very long time so I captured it.

The stew for lunch, paired with yam slices, was gently handed over to me while the "Mummy Chefs" supervised with knowing smiles. Truth is, I’ve been here before. Yours truly has long been a kitchen boy, even a self-confessed kitchen rat 😅, serving, grinding, washing, preparing, and doing a bit of everything.

This experience re-emphasised one powerful lesson for me: PROCESS.
You witness the raw beginning, endure the heat, the smoke, the long standing, the moments of stress and then, slowly, something beautiful emerges. The start and the end may look worlds apart, but it is the process that carries the magic, the growth, and the transformation. Of course, we added some fresh kontombire with eggs, fresh fish (etc.) for that back-end taste ukr😋.

As this year draws to a close, I’m reminded to trust the process, yeah! In life, in purpose, and in becoming. Every heat, every strain, every unseen effort is shaping something meaningful.

In honouring the process of our becoming, let's welcome the new year wiser, stronger, and more refined. 🌾✨

Through study and experience I learnt early that independence teaches strength, but interdependence teaches wholeness.

We are not meant to do life alone. In connection, in bonding, in shared love and happiness, life finds its deepest meaning. This moment was a beautiful reminder, with these innocent beautiful souls who made it even brighter. 💫🤍

It's always a few at the apex of the success pyramid and the majority at the base who feel the difference is just luck.

Why only admire, wish, jealous, or envy when you can create your 'luck' (success structural systems) too?
