Aruna Bangura is a proud member of LISAK and 2021 graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Road and Transportation Engineering. Armed with a strong foundation in engineering principles and leadership skills, Bangura has excelled in academia and project management. He currently serves as a Lecturer at the University of Liberia’s Department of Civil Engineering and Stella Maris Polytechnic’s Technical College, shaping the next generation of engineers in Liberia.

Beyond academia, Bangura has embraced multifaceted roles to drive Liberia’s development. Marvees J. Weah is a 2021 graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Land Governance and Policy. Since graduating, Marvees has made notable strides in his field. He currently serves as the National Forestry and Natural Resource Management (NRM) Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Liberia. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in strengthening forest governance and advancing sustainable land management practices.

K. Marvie Reed, a proud member of LISAK and a 2021 graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a Master’s in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation. Further advancing his expertise, Marvie earned another master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the prestigious Alma Mater Studiorum - UniversitΓ  di Bologna, where he is currently a research fellow.

Marvie is a multidisciplinary engineer with a robust background spanning mining, water supply and sanitation, and environmental engineering. He combines technical expertise with exceptional leadership skills, focusing on projects that promote green-engineering solutions.

His expertise and research interests include dimensional stone quarry optimization, discrete fracture network modeling, hydrological analysis, sustainable sanitation, resource recovery, bioeconomy, and environmental management.
