TODAY’S WORD || 7th NOVEMBER, 2024

THEME: CAN GOD APPEAL TO THE WORLD THROUGH YOU?

ANCHOR TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 5:20, ESV
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.”

REFLECTIONS
Being an ambassador is a position of great responsibility, and YES! You are a senior representative of Jesus to the world.

Through your words, actions, and lives, God is making His appeal to those around us, calling them to reconciliation and a restored relationship with Him. Just as an ambassador speaks on behalf of a nation, we are here to reflect the heart of Christ and to show love, grace, and truth to a world in need.

The question we can ask ourselves is: Can God appeal to the world around me through my life? When we walk in closeness with God, become rooted in His love and purpose, we naturally become channels of His peace, joy, and salvation to others. May we embrace this role and strive to live in a way that reflects His heart each day.

Your Excellency, Asomdowe nka wo!!

Let's pray,
I. Father, make me a true ambassador.
Ii. Father, let the world around me benefit from your peace, grace, and salvation.

Your EXCELLENCY, have a good day!

THEME: YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD.

ANCHOR TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21, ESV
“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

REFLECTIONS
God’s love for us was so deep that He sent His sinless Son, Jesus, to take on our sin and bear the punishment we deserved. Jesus, who was perfect and without sin, became the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be made right with God.

Through His blood, our sins are forgiven, and we are granted a new standing as righteous before God.

This truth encourages us to live free from guilt and condemnation, knowing that our worth and identity are now found in Christ.

No sin or shame can hold us captive because Jesus’ sacrifice has made us new and given us peace with God. As we accept this gift, we’re called to live confidently in God’s grace and embrace our identity as His redeemed people.

Today day, walk in the freedom Christ purchased for you.

Lets pray
I.Thank God for making you righteous through His SON.
II.Pray for freedom from any guilt of sin in your life.

Have a RIGHTEOUS Wednesday

THEME: YOUR FREEDOM IS NOT A COVER-UP FOR EVIL

ANCHOR TEXT: 1 PETER 2:16
“Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.”

REFLECTION
As followers of Christ, we are called to live in true freedom, liberated from the chains of sin and the influence of the devil. This freedom, granted to us through Jesus, is precious and should be cherished. It’s not merely freedom from wrongdoing but the freedom to serve God wholeheartedly.

By resisting the temptation to misuse this freedom, we honor the sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross.True freedom in Christ also calls us to live as devoted servants of God.

Our freedom isn't a license for selfish gain but an opportunity to represent God's love and righteousness. Living as servants of God means that we willingly submit our lives to His purposes. Purge yourself of any evil desires lurking in your hearts and embrace the total freedom Christ offers. AMEN!

Lets Pray
I.Pray for a heart that cherishes and guards the freedom Christ has given.
II.Ask God to help you embrace your role as His servants.

Have a Freedom Wednesday!!

THEME: GIVE NO OPPORTUNITY TO THE DEVIL

ANCHOR TEXT: EPHESIANS 4:27
“and give no opportunity to the devil.”

REFLECTION
Beloved “give no opportunity to the devil,” YES! You have the power to resist the devil. You have the responsibility to guard your heart and mind against the influence of the devil.

The devil’s aim is to create stumbling blocks that can lead us away from righteous living. By guarding your thoughts, intentions, and actions, you can effectively block these attempts.

Your focus must be on God’s truth and to walk in His ways. The Holy Spirit is able to make these possible for us. Seek the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the devil will flee.

Today, choose righteousness, align yourself more closely with God and you will find strength and security in His presence. Tell the devil “Away!!!!!!!”

Lets pray
I.Pray for spiritual vigilance and alertness.
II.Pray to God to help you live with integrity and truth.

Have a RIGHTEOUS Tuesday

THEME: CHRIST HAS SET US FREE

ANCHOR TEXT: Galatians 5:1
“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”

REFLECTION
Christ has set us free from the bo***ge of sin through His sacrifice. This freedom was purchased at a great price—His own blood.
We are no longer enslaved to the power of sin, guilt, and fear, but have been given new life in Christ.

This gift of freedom calls us to live in the fullness of God's grace, no longer weighed down by our past but walking in the light of His forgiveness and love.
To "stand firm" means to embrace this freedom with confidence, refusing to return to the yoke of slavery that once held us.

We are called to remain rooted in the freedom Christ provides by living in obedience to His Word and resisting anything that would pull us back into spiritual bo***ge.

Lets pray
1.Pray to Embrace this freedom in Chris.
2.Pray for strength to stand firm

THEME: GREAT PEACE

ANCHOR TEXT: Psalm 119:165
“Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.”

REFLECTION
Psalm 119:165 reminds us that there is great peace for those who love God's law. When we embrace God's commandments and live according to His Word, we find stability and inner calm, even in the face of adversity.

God's law is not burdensome, but rather a source of guidance and protection that leads to a peaceful and ordered life. This peace is rooted in our trust in God's wisdom, which keeps us from stumbling, no matter what challenges we may encounter.

Our love for God is shown in how we honor and follow His law. To truly love His commandments, we must engage with them with our whole being—mind, heart, and soul.

Lets pray
1.Pray for grace to honor and follow the law of God.
2.Pray for peace in every aspect of your life.

THEME: POWER IN SUBMITTING TO GOD

ANCHOR TEXT: James 4:7
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

REFLECTION

Believers are called to submit themselves to God, which means surrendering their will, desires, and ways to Him. True submission involves living in obedience to God’s Word and fully aligning our lives with His statutes.

When we yield to God, we acknowledge His authority over our lives and trust His wisdom to guide us in all things. This humble submission strengthens our relationship with Him and invites His presence and power to work through us.

The verse also reminds us that we have the power to resist the devil. When we choose to reject the devil’s influence and refuse his ways, he is defeated and will flee from us.

Lets pray
Pray for complete submission to God.
Pray for strength to resist the devil.

Have a blessed MIDWEEK
