๐๐ CULTURAL DAY AT ST. NICHOLAS MISSION ACADEMY ๐๐
This week we proudly celebrated our Cultural Day with students dressed in a variety of traditional outfits, representing the rich diversity of cultures within our community.
This yearโs celebration was particularly unique, as students took part in preparing three traditional dishes, akple, banku and fufu. The day concluded with a shared tasting, allowing students to experience these cultural foods firsthand. ๐ฒ๐
Teachers also guided students in learning about the different ethnic groups in Ghana and within our community, making the day both educational and meaningful.
A wonderful celebration of culture, unity, and learning!!

Celebrating Ghanaโs 69th Independence Day ๐ฌ๐ญ๐
Our school joined the community parade along the principal street under the theme โBuilding Prosperity, Inspiring Hope.โ The celebration was an opportunity to highlight how St. Nics continues to bring hope to our community through education.
Over 50 children proudly participated in the parade, with more than 200 students attending to celebrate the day. As we marched through the community, residents cheered us on and joined in the celebrations.
Along the route, we stopped to share with community members about Ghanaโs Independence Day, the importance of children having access to education, and the mission and purpose behind the establishment of St. Nics School.
It was truly a joyful day of learning, pride, and celebration for our community!!

They shared their experiences with the children and spoke about how they chose each of their careers.
It was a fun and inspiring day that encouraged students to start thinking about their own interests, dreams and future possibilities. ๐ฉ๐ฝโ๐ซ๐โ๏ธ
