๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ‰ CULTURAL DAY AT ST. NICHOLAS MISSION ACADEMY ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒ

This week we proudly celebrated our Cultural Day with students dressed in a variety of traditional outfits, representing the rich diversity of cultures within our community.

This yearโ€™s celebration was particularly unique, as students took part in preparing three traditional dishes, akple, banku and fufu. The day concluded with a shared tasting, allowing students to experience these cultural foods firsthand. ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿ‘

Teachers also guided students in learning about the different ethnic groups in Ghana and within our community, making the day both educational and meaningful.

A wonderful celebration of culture, unity, and learning!!

Today is a special day for St. Nics as we celebrate the shared birthday of our co-founders, Anais and Inusah! ๐ŸŽ‰

Staff members and colleagues presented Inusah with a birthday gift, and it was so special to see past students return to St. Nics to wish him a happy birthday. Moments like these truly reflect the wonderful community they have built together.

Happy birthday Anais and Inusah!! ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŽ‚

Celebrating Ghanaโ€™s 69th Independence Day ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐ŸŽ‰

Our school joined the community parade along the principal street under the theme โ€œBuilding Prosperity, Inspiring Hope.โ€ The celebration was an opportunity to highlight how St. Nics continues to bring hope to our community through education.

Over 50 children proudly participated in the parade, with more than 200 students attending to celebrate the day. As we marched through the community, residents cheered us on and joined in the celebrations.

Along the route, we stopped to share with community members about Ghanaโ€™s Independence Day, the importance of children having access to education, and the mission and purpose behind the establishment of St. Nics School.

It was truly a joyful day of learning, pride, and celebration for our community!!

As part of our Career Day celebrations, we welcomed professionals from a range of career paths, including a master hairdresser, master seamstress, professional teacher, project manager from former GVI, pharmacist and other career professionals. They shared their experiences with the children and spoke about how they chose each of their careers.

It was a fun and inspiring day that encouraged students to start thinking about their own interests, dreams and future possibilities. ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ“šโœ๏ธ
