As part of the Fortes fiesta SRC week25 by the His excellency ADU GODFRED led administration was the unprecedented SRC Mega float 🔥.
The week celebration which was dubbed, MEANINGFUL CELEBRATIONS; A MEANS TO MAXIMIZE HEALTH OUTCOMES AND UNLEASH GREATER ACADEMIC POTENTIALS really lived up to its theme.

Students as way of reliving academic stress pulled up in their numbers to have fun and prepare their minds to learn for their for their upcoming examination . As health students, we know that relieving ourselves of the stress through meaningful celebrations like this can lead to the improvement of our cognitive abilities and memory .

It was a memorable one.

ADU GODFRED LED ADMINISTRATION.

Few days ago , As the president of the Students Representative Council, I had the opportunity to Join our Muslim brothers and sisters at the GIMSA handing over ceremony.
I gave a word of advice to the newly elected executives, urging them to see the their role as a call to serve, not to be served.

I used the to reiterate on the need to be discipline as students, especially with regards to our code of dressing. I praised the Muslim ladies on campus and commended them on how decent some of them dress and urge them to admonish the few who does not .

Also , I hammered on the dangers of examination malpractice and advised them to refrain from that act as it comes with dire consequences.
I also in my capacity and in the capacity of the SRC donated a token to support the event.

On the 24th May, 2025 , the second parliamentary sitting of the students representative council (SRC) of the College of health and well-being was held at the college conference hall.
As enshrined in the SRC constitution, the second parliamentary sitting of the council is one where the budget for the administrative year is delivered for deliberations and approval by the parliamentarians. It is also a means of ensuring transparency and accountability in the student governance by the council.
The proceedings started with a welcome address by the speaker of parliament followed by reading minutes from the previous parliamentary proceedings by the Clerk of the students parliament hon. Ama Nuamah Essuman.
The house approved the minutes and the speaker took over the conduct of the house.

The SRC President of the college of health and well-being Kintampo His Excellency ADU GODFRED was called to pass a message to the students and he used the opportunity to brief the house on some projects and activities of the SRC.

The President urge the members of parliament to be ambassadors of the council by communicating the interventions of the SRC as far as students welfare is concerned.

The financial secretary hon Boaz Owusu Agyemang was called to read the budget of the AG INTERVENTIONS ADMINISTRATION for deliberations which he did accordingly. The budget was debated on and was approved by the majority of the MPs.
Other business were tabled and were debated on by the house.
The house ended the sitting with post sitting photography session.

The atmosphere during this 2nd parliamentary sitting communicated nothing but the fact that Ghana’s Democracy has gotten root to an extent that it has find its way into our student leadership and it must be protected by all means possible.
