πΊ CALLING ALL OLD STUDENTS! LETβS REVIVE THE LEGENDARY KETA RC SCHOOL BAND! π₯
The time has come to bring back one of our most cherished legacies β the famous Keta RC School Band! The revival challenge has begun, and we need YOU to get on board!
Weβre excited to announce that the band is coming back to life, thanks to the tireless efforts of Mr. Elikplim Amewode, fondly known as Gascony. For the past few months, he has been passionately working to reorganize and breathe life back into the band. His mission has been strongly and benevolently supported by Mr. Ahadzi Augustine β both proud old students and former band members.
We salute these two for their dedication, and we also want to deeply appreciate all those working behind the scenes whose names may not be mentioned but whose contributions are equally vital. ππ½
Now, we are calling on all past students, especially former band members β your school needs you! Your experience, your support, and your presence can inspire a new generation and help return Keta RC to its former glory.
Letβs make the band the heartbeat of the school once again! ππ
Join the movement. Support the revival. Be part of history.

π World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025 πΈ
Today, we proudly marked World Menstrual Hygiene Day with a meaningful and educational session for our students. We were honored to welcome visiting personnel from the Keta Municipal Government Hospital, led by Principal Rebecca, who engaged the students with valuable information on menstrual health and hygiene.
In a progressive and inclusive move, both girls and boys were part of the program because understanding menstrual hygiene is important for everyone. As future fathers, brothers, teachers, and leaders, our boys gained insight into how they can support the women and girls in their lives with empathy and knowledge.
The session focused on:
β’ Understanding the menstrual cycle
β’ Proper hygiene practices during menstruation
β’ Dispelling myths and reducing stigma
β’ Encouraging open and respectful conversations around the topic
We thank our health partners for their support and commitment to educating the next generation. Together, we are breaking taboos and building a healthier, more informed community. πͺπΎππ«

Last April, we participated in an Easter Quiz competition organized by the Assemblyman of Keta Central, Hon. Gabriel Dzikunu, in collaboration with the Keta Library. The quiz focused mainly on helping learners build a strong vocabulary in the English language, with activities such as a spelling bee, end-word chain, and reading exercises.
The contest featured three categories: Lower Primary, Upper Primary, and JHS, with only four schools in contention; Keta RC Mixed, Zion Basic, Keta EP, and Adzido MA. At the end of the contest, we emerged 1st in the JHS category, 3rd in Upper Primary, and 2nd in Lower Primary.
Today, we officially presented the awards from the contest to the contestants and also received a set of jerseys for the school. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, especially Hon. Gabriel Dzikunu, who is also an alumnus of our great school, as well as the Keta Librarian, Mr. Victor, and the rest of the organizing team for giving us the opportunity to participate.
God bless us all.
