Sustained Hope Academy

We have the wood frame up for ceiling but rain is keeping us from moving very quickly. Steelbender will hopefully start working this week getting the iron rod in place. The cost of everything continues to go up and we are going to come up short for the concrete to be done. We are in need of about $2000 more to finish the ceiling. Please pray with us for God’s provision to at least get the ceiling done.

What an amazing God we serve! We are moving along very quickly on our new school building. This week, another school finished using their wood for their new building and is allowing us to use their wood and bamboo to put our ceilings on. This saves us several hundred dollars in expense. Then we just got word some wonderful friends donated $1,000 for the school. We are praising God for His continued provision for His work. Walls will be done tomorrow and we will begin working on the ceiling. Please continue to pray with us.

The Lord has blessed in amazing ways. Shortly after my last post, we received a gift from some dear friends. Through their gifts we were able to pour the floor and begin laying the block for the walls. The gift will get us to the ceiling level. Then it will be time to pour the concrete ceiling for the two rooms. We are estimating about $10,000 more is needed to pour the ceiling and finish the windows and doors. Please continue to pray for God’s amazing provision for Sustained Hope Academy.

Here we grow again! We have begun the final building project for Sustained Hope Academy. This is the beginning of our 9 room, two-story building. We are hoping to finish these two classrooms by September so we can have all of our classes at one school site. Thank you to the donations that have come in for us to get this far. Unfortunately there is a shortage of sand and stone in our area and we have to have it brought in from another area. This has doubled our cost so far and has used up our building account. Please pray that God will continue to provide the funds necessary to continue the work. Right now we need cement to continue the work. We are needing about 200 bags of cement to continue the work. One bag costs $7. So a total of $1,400 for cement. And then $1,000 for the labor for the masons to do the work. Thank you for all your support and prayers as we continue to touch the lives of children for our Savior.

Primary 2 also went to the fair today and it was fun watching them buying toys. Considering how much some parents gave the kids to spend and they would asked how much some stuff cost when they mentioned the price , their reaction was funny 🤣🤣🤣because it was expensive 😂😂😂haha

Marnie is missing the fun of spending money 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂but don’t worry we got your back 😂😂we will spent it for you 🤪🤪…. The second day of cultural experience with the class or grade 3 students and tomorrow will be grade 2…Different people talked to us about different stuffs. The kids had a lots of funnnnnn!!!!
