Midwifery Training School, Gushegu was established in September 2012 as a Post-Basic Midwifery Training School by the Ministry of Health with support from the Gushegu District Assembly and GETFUND as one of government’s responsive interventions to the persisted inadequacy of midwifery staffs in the country. The Midwifery Training School was actually established to train to increase the number of p

racticing midwives in the Northern Region, for the sole goal of improving maternal and child health and reducing mortality in the region and the country at large. The school became the first tertiary institution in the Gushegu district and the second Midwifery Training school in the northern region at the time of establishment.

Prospective candidates and the general public are hereby informed that forms for admission into the college are currently on sale. Interested persons can purchase an e-voucher from any branch of the Agricultural Development Bank, ADB nationwide at the cost of one hundred Ghana cedis (GHC 100.00) and submit completed forms online. The deadline for purchase and completion of online form is Saturday 8th June, 2019
