COMING UP, OBUASI......
Its so disturbing how some of our Preachers and church leaders have chosen to compromise the doctrine of the church with impunity. Like the children of Israel, many continue to ask for a "KING" they don't need but rather just want to be like the other nations, so to speak.

It is becoming difficult nowadays to differentiate between a church of Christ preaching and that of the denominations. This was not so in the New Testament times and even in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and the 90s. How can we close our eyes over this?

The funny thing about it is that they want some of us to keep quiet over these gross permissiveness and sad situation. They do not want to hear some of us reminding ourselves of the various warnings in the New Testament concerning Apostasy. However, the NT is very clear on this. In 1Timothy 4:1, Paul said, " NOW THE SPIRIT EXPRESSLY SAYS THAT IN LATTER TIMES SOME WILL DEPART FROM THE FAITH,GIVING HEED TO DECEIVING SPIRITS AND DOCTRINES OF DEMONS".

Let us keep in mind that this message was delivered to a church of Christ Preacher, not a denominational Pastor. It is also important to note that the two forces behind those who would depart from the faith are:
1.DECEIVING SPIRITS
2. DOCTRINES OF DEMONS.
It is against this backdrop that the Takoradi central church of Christ in conjunction with Takoradi Bible College is inviting anyone who is interested in having this spiritual and scriptural conversation to a 2 day Bible lectures on "THE CHURCH AND HER DOCTRINE".

We can not but to constantly remind the world that Christianity is ordered after a definite pattern and that the early church "CONTINUED STEADFASTLY IN THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE "

Lord, help your servants to ignore all the insults, threats, hatred & false accusations so that we can concentrate rather on Speaking the Truth in Love..Eph 4:15.
