APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION INTO AGRICULTURAL COLLEGES
MINISTRY OF FOOD AND AGRICULTURE
2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for entry into any of the Agricultural Colleges in Ghana.

Applicants must:

Purchase application codes, starting Monday, 29th March 24, 2021 from any GCB Bank Branch, at a cost of One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢100.00). This includes the cost of verification of results and SMS alerts.

Upon payment, applicants will receive a voucher giving them a unique serial Number (SN) and PIN.

Give their full name at the point of purchase.

Have a dedicated phone number and an e-mail address.

Use their serial number (SN) and PIN code to access the application form online at www.mofaschools.edu.gh.

Note that the online registration form is accessible only by the SN and PIN.

Follow the instructions carefully and fill the relevant stages of the admission process once the online application is opened.

Use the reference number you would receive on submission of your form to track the status of the admission process.

Note that only Applicants who meet admission requirements will be invited to attend a competitive interview at the school of choice.

The aim of these programmes is to train the youth in Modern Agricultural Techniques and encourage them to take up agriculture as an occupation to earn a living.

Opportunities:

Upon admission, students are provided with free accommodation and tuition during the training period.

Graduates may constitute themselves into well organized groups after training to source loans from financial institutions to embark on commercial agriculture

Graduates can take advantage of the numerous interventions by government for the youth to go into agricultural production

Prospects for further studies also exist.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For the Diploma Programmes, SSCE & WASSCE CANDIDATES must meet the following requirements:

i. Minimum of three (3) passes in core subjects (English, Mathematics &
Integrated Science) at least D7.

Minimum of three (3) credit in Elective subjects for Science, Agricultural Science, Arts, Business and Technical students.

For the Certificate Programme, a minimum of five (5) passes including English, Mathematics and Integrated Science and two elective subjects.

Applicants awaiting results may also apply.

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF FORMS IS 16TH JULY, 2021.

On Wednesday, 7th April, 2021, a Sod Cutting ceremony was held to pave way for the construction of library and conference room complex in the college. The project is being funded by the Ejura Traditional Council, Sparks Farms and Today's Media. In attendance were; The Principal of the College, Krontihene of Ejura Traditional Council, Ejura Nifahene, the Ashanti Regional Director of Agriculture, the Ejura Municipal Director of Agric. the Project consultant, Farm manager of spark's Farm, Today's media, Staff and students in the college.
