Center for Child Development Research & Referral
The centre is located in the University of Cape Coast and it is based on the philosophy that all children are important. In 2005, when the B.Ed.
The Child Development Research and Referral Unit, as it was the called, was established by the Department of Educational Foundations in 1974 to train students to identify, assess and manage children with special educational needs. Prior to 2005, the students who benefited from the activities of the Unit were B.Ed. Psychology and MPhil special education students. Psychology programme was phased out
CCDRR presents a training workshop for parents and guardians of children with spacial educational needs.
Specifically, the workshol will focus on strategies for managing Autism spectrum disorder, and reading difficuties.
Our experts in the field will provide participants with working knowledge and skills to manage their chikdren at home.
The date is Friday, 17th September, 2021 , and thw venue is the counselling Centre Conference Room, UCC.
