💚💛 THE WELFARE COMMITTEE - WELFCOM announces the Call to Glory and subsequent Celebration of the life of our sister Dr. Mrs. Rosina Aboagyewaa Acheampong. She was a member of the 1958 Year Group.

'Archie', 'Mother Archie', are some of her affectionate names within and outside the G*y Hey sisterhood.

Archie was the first Ghanaian Headmistress of our revered School of excellence, having taken over from Miss Clarice Garnett. She would, in the ensuing sixteen years, successfully steer the affairs of the School, to the glory of God and go on to become the first female Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service.

Archie was one of our beloved matriachs and a member of the Council of Elders of the OGA.

The Funeral
Saturday, 1st March 2024,
at Trinity United Church, near UPSA, Legon.
Pre-Burial Service is at 7.30 a.m.
Burial Service continues at 9.00 a.m.

Attire is School Cloth with a touch of Black.

The 1958 Year Group, the entire OGA and the School are bereaved, but are also expected to support the family to bid Archie farewell.
