* ATOSA EXECUTIVE MEETING *
VENUE: GBC CLUBHOUSE

OPENING PRAYER: Rev. ISAAC Donkor ( Latif).

1. Formation of Electoral Commission. The purpose is to elect new executives according to our constitution.
2. A motion was put forward for our constitution regarding election to be amended. That is, the nomination period will be reduced to two months instead of four. This is due to the inconveniences caused by COVID 19. This motion was seconded and approved.
3. Three members were appointed for the Electoral Commission, namely: Mr. Nicholas Boi Nai, Mr. Robert Fietsi and Rev. Isaac Donkor.
4. Role of Electoral Commission: To ascertain that;
a. Members must have good standing in the association . This simply means both nominees and voters must be paid up members.
b. Paid up members is defined as those who will pay their dues starting from 21st January 2021 up to 30th June 2021.
c. Nominees should have no criminal record whatsoever.
d. Open nomination, i.e. any good standing Atosa can be nominated for the functional ( core ) executive position.
e. Functional/ Core executive position is as follows: Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Secretary,Financial Secretary and Organizing/Coordinating Secretary.
f. Each year group should nominate a representative to general executive.
5. Electoral Commission has to report in two weeks time.
6. There is a need to visit the school in mid July, purposely to register outgoing final year students as Atosa. An app will be created for this registration.
7. Zoom could be adapted for meetings.
8. The following items are available for sale: Polo 👕 shirts, caps🧢, car stickers and school anniversary cloth.
9. Mr. George Provencal and Mr. Frank Paintsil have been sworn in again to represent Atosa on the school board.
* Other Matters*
10. Atosas should desist from using the platform for their commercial activities especially without the consent of the administrators.
11. Meeting was adjourned to 10th July 2021.
