NSBE offers its students and professional members' leadership training, professional development, mentoring opportunities and community service outreach programmes. The headquarters of NSBE is in the United States with membership in Canada, Asia, South America, Jamaica, Mexico and South Africa.

On Black History Month
The spot light is on Angela Harris CURRY HARRIS, the wife of Brother NSBE Founder Tony Harris
Angela Curry Harris is the Owner/Broker of A.C. Harris Insurance Services. Her agency markets individual and group health and life insurance and other ancillary products and has been in operation for over 30 years.
In addition, she and her husband are owners of Campbell/Harris Security Equipment Company (CSECO) which manufactures specialized security equipment for law enforcement and numerous government agencies.
Angela serves as Corporate Secretary/Treasurer.
Prior to owning CSECO, Angela and her husband Tony Harris owned Sonoma Ford/ Lincoln/Mercury where she worked as Finance and Insurance Manager.
Angela is an active member of The Links, Incorporated.
An international, not-for-profit organization comprised of nearly 15,000 professional women of color located in the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the United Kingdom.
The Links, Incorporated, is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
From 2010 to 2018, Angela served at the National level as a member of the Leadership Council and the National Executive Council. She was recently inducted into the 1946 Society for outstanding philanthropic commitment to The Links Foundation, Incorporated.
Angela is also a member of the Carrousels Social Club, and Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, CA. She is a past Gala Chair for the Oakland Museum of California. Her passions include art and wine collecting, jazz and traveling.
Angela received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana University – Bloomington. She also holds certification as a Registered Health Underwriter. Angela and her husband Anthony have two sons and reside in Alameda, California.
