🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Frank Owusu Aboagye – Class of 2021 🌟

Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion Senior High School proudly celebrates ɔkɔr Frank Owusu Aboagye, Class of 2021, who has graduated this year from KNUST with a First Class BSc. in Biochemistry.

Frank’s journey is a testament to the discipline, confidence, and resilience Aggrey instills in its students. The structured daily routine at Aggrey taught him punctuality, organization, and balance — habits that became his greatest strength at university.

At Aggrey, Frank distinguished himself through leadership in class, participation in debates, and representing the school in the National Science & Maths Quiz. He also benefited from the support of AMOSA, whose contributions during National Science & Maths Quiz preparations and science class resources strengthened his academic foundation.

At KNUST, Frank quickly adapted to the fast-paced university life, relying on the discipline Aggrey had instilled. He excelled academically and socially, building confidence in large lecture halls and collaborating effectively with peers from diverse backgrounds.
Looking ahead, Frank aspires to become a lecturer in molecular medicine, combining research, teaching, and mentorship to inspire the next generation of scientists and health professionals.

💡 His message to current students: “Make the most of your time at Aggrey. Don’t just chase grades — build character. Be punctual, ask questions, collaborate, and communicate with confidence.”

🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Bridget Agyeiwaa Opoku – Called to the Bar, 2025 🌟

Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion Senior High School proudly celebrates Bridget Agyeiwaa Opoku, Class of 2019, who has been called to the Bar as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana in 2025.

Bridget graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, in August 2023 with an LLB in Law, and subsequently completed her professional training at the Ghana School of Law, Makola. She credits Aggrey for instilling confidence, discipline, and resilience, sharing:

“Aggrey helped me to build up confidence and discover my potential. The teachers believed in me more than I did.”

At Aggrey, Bridget served as Class Prefect and Head Girls’ Prefect, leading her peers with vision and humility. Her year group contributed to the school by donating a projector, and she distinguished herself academically, earning certificates of merit and breaking a ten-year record in CRS.

At the University of Ghana, Bridget excelled in her law studies, achieving multiple A+ grades and becoming a reliable source of knowledge for her peers. She actively engaged with AMOSA-UG, strengthening alumni connections through events and discussions that revived the Aggrey spirit.

Looking ahead, Bridget aspires to specialise in Mining, Energy and Power, Intellectual Property, Technology, and Corporate and Commercial Practice. She also dreams of becoming an author and, ultimately, a judge.

Her message to current Aggrey students:

“Your teachers are not your enemies. Allow them to mould and nurture you. Love the school and the management, so you can discover your potential. Make good friends who will last a lifetime.”

To alumni, she appeals:

“Let us actively engage with students and build a strong network where we can guide and support our Amamezians. Aggrey is the hub of everything — where knowledge is shared, support is generated, and destinies are shaped.”
