We proudly celebrate our Basic 9 class – the Visionary Scholars of 2026 πŸŽ“βœ¨
As a mark of gratitude and legacy, they have donated a drum set and a microphone to the school. This thoughtful gesture speaks volumes about their vision, unity, and love for their school.

May this inspire other classes and our cherished past students to also give back and help shape the future of our school. Together, we can do even more!

Today, St. Mary’s Anglican basic school proudly joined the world to celebrate International Girls in ICT Day 2026 πŸ’»πŸŒβœ¨
As part of this year’s celebration, I had the privilege of taking 5 brilliant young girls to Coastal TV studio for a meaningful discussion on how girls can actively participate in and enjoy ICT. We talked about breaking stereotypes, building confidence, and embracing technology as a tool for creativity, problem-solving, and impact.

When we empower girls with digital skills, we are not just shaping their future, but building stronger, smarter, and more inclusive communities.

Let’s continue to inspire, support, and create opportunities for every girl to thrive in ICT. The future is digital, and girls belong in it! πŸš€πŸ’‘

πŸ“… Friday, 20th February

On Friday, 20th February, Ayifua St. Mary’s Anglican Basic School came alive with colour, culture, and creativity as we celebrated our much-anticipated Traditional Day and Cooking Competition.

Our learners proudly showcased the rich cultural heritage of Ghana through beautiful traditional attire, captivating cultural performances, and impressive displays of local traditions. The school compound was filled with excitement, unity, and a strong sense of identity.

The Cooking Competition was a major highlight of the celebration. Pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork and culinary skills as they prepared a variety of delicious local dishes. Their confidence, presentation, and knowledge of traditional meals were truly outstanding.

The event was not only entertaining but also educational, helping our learners appreciate, preserve, and celebrate our cultural heritage.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, supportive parents, hardworking pupils, and everyone who contributed to the success of this memorable day.
