UCC’s performance in the Times Higher Education (THE) EMERGING ECONOMIES UNIVERSITY rankings is NOW OUT. This was released during the THE Global Summit in Dubai.
UCC is Ranked 52nd in the 2022 Times Higher Education EMERGING ECONOMIES UNIVERSITY RANKINGS!!!
There are about 50 countries represented in the Times Higher Education EMERGING ECONOMIES UNIVERSITY list including Brazil, Russia, India, China, Iceland, Malaysia, South Africa, Botswana, Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia, Egypt, Indonesia, Nigeria, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Cyprus, Thailand, Greece, Czech Republic, Taiwan, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Qatar, Jordan, and Vietnam.

The University of Cape Coast was ranked in one subject (Clinical and Health Sciences) out of the four subjects released this month. We placed 151-175th out of 925 universities ranked globally
By this, the University of Cape Coast is among the top 3 universities in Africa in the Subject---Clinical and Health Sciences. UCC comes after the University of Cape Town (98th) and Cairo University (126-151th).

In September 2020, the Director of DRIC constituted a committee with the singular mandate of ensuring that we participate fully in the 2022 THE WUR rankings.
A few minutes ago, the results of the 2022 rankings were released. UCC is ranked 4th in Africa, first in West Africa and first in Ghana. Our nearest competitor in Ghana was ranked 39th in Africa.
