The Management of Royal Secretarial School are designed to equip students with the relevant knowledge, professional competencies and attitudes to enable them teach Management and Secretarial subjects at the pre-tertiary level and to function as administrative or training officers in the public and civil services as well as in the private sector.

Royal Secretarial School, This is a school for all who want to become competent secretaries to help the executives of organizations in this country and beyond. ROSCO is known for producing good secretaries, some of who are currently providing perfect secretarial duties in many offices in the country and outside of the country.
Some students, who graduated from the systematic and practical training and theoretical exercises and lessons at ROSCO and decided to go up the education ladder have successfully gone through the tertiary level, such as Polytechnic, Nursing Training school, Teacher Training College and University and are now gainfully employed.
One significant thing about ROSCO is that, after graduating from the school, one is qualified for office work.

COURSE STRUCTURE
Intensive teaching of Typewriting, Officepractice, Shorthand, English Language, InformationCommunicationTechnology
will prepare one to write and pass the typist grade examination in two years and additional teaching of:
1. Economics
2. Business Law
3.BusinessCommunication
Will also get one ready to sit for the Diploma in Business Studies (DBS) secretarial option in the third year.
ROSCO is also an examination centre for the following examining bodies:
1. Government Secretarial School Examination
2. National Vocational Training Institute Examination
3. COTVET – National Secretarial Examination in Office Management, conducted by technical exams unit.

ACCOMMODATION FOR STUDENTS
The school has decent accommodation for students outside Bolgatanga and they are user-friendly, this means that, the male dormitory is at a distant from the female dormitory.
