Akuse Methodist Senior High Tech. School Akuse Methodist Senior High Technical School was established in January 1991 to offer Secondary and Technical Education to the Akuse Community.

Akuse Methodist Senior High Technical School (AMEST) was established in January 1991 by the Ministry of Education to offer Secondary and Technical Education to the graduates of Junior Secondary Schools (now Junior High Schools) under the Government Educational Programme. It was a Government assisted Day Mixed Institution and had Hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Currently, it can boast of

a Boarding status for both boys and girls kudos to the present dynamic indefatigable hardworking and affable Headmaster Mr. Seth Appiah Nyantakyi ‘alias Akosombo’ under whose auspices the boarding system began in January 2007. The School has a motto: LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

Over the weekend, the Akuse Methodist Senior High Technical School Cadet Corps held its Handover Ceremony, as the 2026 batch of cadet leaders officially handed over leadership responsibilities to the next generation of officers.

The ceremony, which forms part of the Corps’ long-standing tradition of leadership transition, was attended by school authorities and other invited guests.

We are grateful to Photoba Isaac for once again capturing these memorable moments and helping us preserve the history and activities of our Cadet Corps.

Congratulations to the outgoing officers on their service and dedication, and best wishes to the incoming officers as they begin their journey of leadership and responsibility.
