FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The funeral of a late matron of the school, Madam Margaret Ohene-Agyei, will take place this Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Lashibi Funeral Home and Crematorium in Accra.

The late Madam Ohene-Agyei spent a major part of her working years from 1996 to 2002 supervising operations in the school's canteen.

Let's all attend to bid her farewell. 🙏🏿

We're looking for passionate and committed past students to apply to be considered as Executives in the National Association.

The roles to be filled are:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Organiser, Assistant Organiser, and Publicity Officer.

A voting procedure will be held to select eligible applicants to fill the specified roles.

ATTENTION

After collating your opinions based on the failure of our NSMQ teams to succeed in successive contests, what run through was a LACK OF SUPPORT and a LACK OF CONFIDENCE.

Do you support creating a Group of Old Students that would develop strategies to help our NSMQ team to succeed in the future?

This group would have a President, Vice, Secretary, Treasurer/CFO, Head of Publicity, etc.

Some of their duties would be:
1. Soliciting funds to support the NSMQ team, including tutors.
2. Soliciting publicity from media houses and top media personalities. Eg: Piesie Samuel Atta-Mensah, CEO- Citi FM/Citi TV.
3. Creating a formidable support team (eg: Jama group) that will follow the team at all contest venues.
4. Creating milestones for the team, for example, a 5-year-plan to win the trophy.
Semi-final in the forthcoming 2023 contest, final in the 2025 contest, and win the trophy in the 2027 contest.
5. Identity counselors, psychologists, past NSMQ participants, and other prominent personalities amongst the Old Students to give our Teams pep talks, empowering sermons, etc.
6. Come up with the Group's name, logo, and paraphernalia to support the team: T-shirt, Polo shirt, banners, etc.
