St. Dominic R/C J H S A first cycle educational institution that seeks to impact knowledge to the country's young human resource and to help improve the level of education in Gh St.

Dominic R/C JHS was established by the St. Dominic Catholic Church of Adankwame in April 2006 with the help of the Government of the Republic of Ireland(DCI), through Aidlink. The school started with 64 pupils in September. In 2009, the first batch of the pupils took part in the Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE). And since 2009 till date, final year pupils have succesfully gone through

six final year examinations and obtained hundred percent pass. Consequently, most of the leavers gained admission to various tertiary Schools. Currently, the pupils population of the school stands at 235. The teaching staff population is also 17; 8 out of which are male and 9 female. The School boasts of technological facilities such as 14 sets of computers with internet activation. Again, all the Classrooms are projected to enhance teaching and learning made possible by some foreign benefactors and benefactresses.
