TOPIC: The Benefits of Devotion

TEXT: And you will seek Me, and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)

It will take total devotion to experience constant divine visitation. You have to be totally devoted to God to find Him when you need Him though He is not far from any of us. Total devotion to God in fellowship, worship, study of His Word and prayer not only guarantees constant visitation of God, it also opens you up to promotion that would otherwise bypass you. You get to know God personally in a way very few people do. Devotion gives you a sense of His presence that makes you “feel” Him that He is in you and with you. Devotion develops in you a listening heart and a hearing ear. It allows the light of God to repeatedly fill your heart and give you vivid images of what He is speaking, doing or showing.

When you constantly seek God and you are “sold out” for Him, whatever you sell whether in goods or services will profit you so wonderfully that people will marvel..... Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. (Job 22:21). Your intimacy with God becomes a spiritual magnet for the good things of life to be attracted to you. This is your day.

¶ FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
The secret of true happiness lies within unwavering devotion to God.

Holy Spirit, empower me to be spiritually disciplined for daily seeking of the Father's face in Jesus name.
