There are currently 95 boys and girls from across West Africa on full scholarship at the Academy. Our talent development model is comprised of three core areas – football, education and character – and our students have the opportunity to access two main graduate pathways: professional football or student-athlete scholarships to the US and UK. Over the last decade, we have produced over 30 profess
ional footballers, including Ghana Internationals David Accam and Abdul Majeed Waris. Over 40 of our graduates have secured student-athlete scholarships to the US, with graduates like Albert CK Kumah and Oscar Umar, having completed their undergraduate degrees, now working for major global firms. In January 2016, Right to Dream Founder, Tom Vernon, led a consortium of investors to takeover Danish Superliga club, FC Nordsjaelland (FCN), with the visioning of taking FCN to the next level through the development of the Club’s already first-class academy, emphasizing character development, academic excellence with world-class scouting and coaching; and enabling the undoubted football talent in Scandanavia and West Africa to flourish. Several RtD graduates have already signed professional terms with the Danish Club. Right to Dream is pioneering a new model for football development spreading its unique football philosophy and commitment to developing inspirational role models for West Africa and beyond.
