Butterfly Effect Ghana

Butterfly Effect Ghana Butterfly Effect is a social enterprise that designs learning and teaching experiences for students to impact their lives and their communities

The name Butterfly Effect was derived from the theory of the same name, which states that if you change even the smallest of life's details, you completely change its outcome. Inspired by this, Butterfly Effect is an educational social enterprise that creates learning and teaching experiences for youth to develop their ability to develop themselves and their community

Our flagship curriculum whic

h is being implemented in multiple public schools, is designed to promote creativity, critical thinking and independent learning that moves beyond rote memorisation typical of a traditional curriculum. We first take students through a period of discovery and exposure to various ideas, people and skills. Secondly we encourage them to start up initiatives that develop their personal interests whilst addressing the needs of the community. This process ensures that they gain invaluable skills and experiences that will help them move beyond their current socio-economic status.

"We promise on our honour, to be faithful and loyal to Ghana our motherland. We pledge ourselves to the service of Ghana, with all our strength and with all our heart. We promise to hold in high esteem, our heritage won for us through the blood and toil of our fathers; and we pledge ourselves in all things to uphold and defend the good name of Ghana. So help us God"
Happy 60th our beloved country!!!!

Aside Taster Activities, our BE heroes got to learn through Inspire Sessions. These are discussion sessions meant to inspire our BE heroes to take responsibility for their lives and their community and be the change they want to see.

They got to meet, interact and learn from enterprising young Ghanaians transforming problems into opportunities.

On different weeks, we had Khadijat Olabisi El- Alawa from Free Lunch Ghana, Rasheeda from Tech Needs Girls, Maabena Antwi of Fitvolution Ghana and Eunice Ahenkora from Golden Baobab.
