Early Detection Saves Lives! 🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to remind ourselves that early detection saves lives.

Globally, more than 2.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and tragically, about 670,000 lose their lives to the disease (WHO, 2022).

In Ghana, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, accounting for nearly one-third of all cases. Unfortunately, many of these are detected at later stages (BMC Women’s Health, 2022).

To promote early detection and save lives, Hope Christian Hospital is offering FREE BREAST CANCER SCREENINGS from October 27 to 31 (9:00 AM–2:00 PM daily) at the Village of Hope campus in Gomoa Fetteh.
