Self Denial.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a cast away. [1corinthians 9:27]
Beloved in Christ, I personally believed that this daily exercise of Apostle Paul must be genuinely be practised by every single believer who wants to walk in experience of what Christ has accomplished for the saints and live in a perpetual victory everyday.
What the Spirit through Paul is communicating to the church is that from the crowns of our head to the soles of our feet should be totally under the control and leadership of the Holy Spirit. For instance; Job said; I have made a convenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman. As a pastor, businessman or woman, politician, journalist, student and parents let us do everything in word or action in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him, devoid of fraud, lies, flattery, bitterness, self seeking, hatred, slander and all forms of malice.
To the church; whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Death to self is the key to hosting the fullness of God in manifestation. I pray God, receive grace to deny your self and carry the cross everyday in Jesus Name. Amen.
