E2 Reading and fun club E2 Reading and Fun Club. p.o box AF 1266, Accra Ghana
OPENS ON FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD SATURDAYS IN A MONTH These steps will help sustain the Club.

Philosophy and Rationale:

The E2 Reading and Fun Club is founded on the belief that the development of the child at the early stages has a positive impact on the later years of the child’s growth. The rationale behind this Club is therefore to prepare a curriculum that is suitable to the early development of the child for its multiplier effect on the child in the future.Children aged between two

and 15 years. It is anticipated that these children will have the opportunity to gain access to reading techniques and strategies which will be complemented with fun derived from teaching-learning resources in order for them to lay down a solid foundation for further learning. Our Objectives:
The Club seeks to create a social interaction of children, encourage love for each other, instil sense of awareness of social reality, induct them into the inductive and deductive learning and finally, to create the awareness of stimulus-response learning, and sense of creativity and critical thinking. Sustainability:
The Club will work with caring and fostering ladies/women. Guidance and Counselling services will also be provided. Above all, monitoring and evaluation for effective feedback that will enable us to give appropriate intervention, will also be undertaken. A compound that is surrounded with a fence wall is secured for this project.

When someone is taught the joy of learning it becomes a lifelong process that never stops, a process that creates a logical individual. That is the challenge and joy of teaching.

Members of E2 reading and fun club at The Light Academy(TLA) held a memorable fruits day at the school. Let's encourage our children to eat fresh fruits. As the peot says: Fruit! Fruit! Mangoes, pears and oranges all are fruits. Eat a lot of fruits and you will get a good health.

Seriously, parents, are you making sure your kids read?

If you care to look outside your friends zone for a minute and see the posts of some of the post millennial kids out there, one thing that should scare you is their spelling and totally horrible sentence construction.

This comes from the fact that these days most kids DON'T READ.

Please people, motivate your kids to read a book every two weeks. If it means using their favorite programs on television as a reward base, do it. If they don't tell you each day what they read in a chapter, then don't allow them watch their favorite programs.

That could be the difference between your child having to do resits of the WASSCE and moving faster to achieve their dream.
