From the boardroom to the classroom.
In 2018, Lynda Odro, the then recently retired Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hollard Insurance, announced to family and friends at her 60th birthday party that she had gained admission to pursue a diploma in Early Childhood Education at the University of Education,Winneba.
After two (2) years of her proverbial tenacity,she graduated with distinction, much to the admiration of family and friends.
She then announced,once again,
at the first birthday of her first grand child, that she was going ahead to continue with the degree programme.
On Wednesday, 22nd April,2026 she graduated from the University of Education,Winneba with a Bachelor of Education in Early Grade with first class honours.
Early Staters is currently run by Lynda Odro,the director, aided by her sister, Evelyn Asiedu, and a team of dedicated teachers,affectionately referred to as aunties.
Lynda's vision for every preschooler is to awaken in them the joy and love of learning.
This family business was established in 1993 by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Asiedu of blessed memory, both renowned educationist. Both siblings bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that can only propel the Early Starters children to greater heights and lay a firm foundation for a lifetime of active learning and achievement.
The entire Asiedu family is proud of Lynda' s hard work. We are also thankful for the opportunity we have to carry on our parents' legacy.
