Located at Haatso, Ecomog road, Mabay Junction , Accra, J’s Cakes and Floral Institute was established in 2001 in Nungua, as a confectioner providing food service to its extensive clients with its indigenous business development policy. Jossy’s Home Making School (JHMS) as it was formerly known, J’s Cakes and Floral Institute has since 2010 expanded and transformed into an institute providing trai
ning programs in Cake Making, Floral décor and Cookery among others, earning the trainee a National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) Certification. With a few but impressive initial student enrolment then, the school now enjoys an enviable student participation in its culinary training programs both from within and internationally. Presently, J’s Cake and Floral Institute runs intensive courses with flexible tuition payment plans and sessions to meet the needs of all by offering contemporary progressive programs, covering both the design and business aspects of the culinary industry. Student are given the opportunity to work with varieties of modern tools and equipment as well as access to support based, well-stocked retail outlets to provide all the needs of students and partners in the culinary industry. The diverse curriculum attracts men and women across the nation with various aspiration and plans to become caterers or chefs for retail outlets, to work independently, or even operating their own business as well as desiring to acquire design skill and knowledge for personal enjoyment.
