WE ARE THE VOICE NOT THE WORD

WAIT FOR ME AT THE ALTAR.
"Can God still use women in this generation?" This was the question I asked for years.
I looked around me, and it was like God was using only men to display His power and glory. I saw and read about men that manifested the possibilities of God. I only saw ladies walking around half naked, twerking, or living immoral lives.
I wonder whether God is gender biased.
Has He given up on the ladies in this generation and no longer interested in using them? Can He still use women?
Then I went to church one evening. The message title was "Carrying the Presence".
I watched as my spiritual father called out two men and prayed for them. I kept watching. He called out another man and prayed for him. I started crying. I said, “I have always suspected that God want to use only men. God are you truly gender biased?”
Apostle walked towards us and pointed out at the man next to me and prayed for him. The more he called out men, the more I cried. He came to where I was sitting and skipped me again and pointed to yet another man beside me. At this point I broke down and screamed, “God, why only men? Why only them? Can't you use us too? Can't you use women too? If you are not gender biased, if you can use women, use me, even me too.”
Immediately my spiritual father looked at me, then he signalled me to come. I met him and he told me, "WAIT FOR ME AT THE ALTAR"
I went to the Altar and waited. I waited for quite some time because he went around praying for other people. When he returned to the altar, I was still waiting. He then laid his hands on my head and my life changed.
That day I got the answer to my question. Can God use women? The answer to that question is "WAIT AT THE ALTAR"
Yes! God can use women too. God is interested is using women as powerfully as He is using great men of God but women must be willing to "WAIT AT THE ALTAR"
The Altar here refers to the secret place.
Dear woman, God want to use you too but you must be willing to wait for Him in the secret place. The anointing of our spouses, spiritual father's and prayer worriors may carry us awhile but if we desire full measure, we too must pay the price of waiting.
Many women are not willing to wait. Some started waiting but they left before He came. When my spiritual father told me to wait at the altar, he didn't come to the altar immediately, he took a while. Imagine if I got tired and left? Unfortunately many ladies have left the altar, because they were expecting what they were waiting for to come immediately and it didn't.
God is still interested in raising mighty women. God is still interested in using women like he used Deborah, Esther, Kathryn Kuhlman, Aimee McPherson, Maria Etter and the likes. But women must wait. They must wait, wait in the place of prayer. They must tarry in prayers, wait in the place of fasting, and wait in the place of studying the word of God.
We women may wait for long hours in the salon for a hairstyle of our choice. If we can take pain to wait for the things that beautify the flesh, we can take even greater pain to wait for hours in the place of prayer, until an anointing comes on our heads that will make the world look at us and see God's grace. If we can patiently wait for a make-up when it becomes necessary just to change our appearance, we can wait more in the place of studying the Word of God and behold His face until our appearance is changed to look like Him. We can wait in the place of fasting and intercession, until we turn the souls of men from sin to Jesus.
Let's wait at the Altar. Let’s lay ourselves on the Altar and wait as a sacrifice until His fire comes and purify us. Then His glory and power will emit from us like a smoke and fill our world.
So "CAN GOD USE WOMEN TOO?" Yes! God can use women too, God can use us too but "WE MUST BE WILLING TO WAIT AT THE ALTAR"
THE ACCOUNTABILITY OF CHURCH ELDERS.
THE TIMOTHY PRINCIPLE.
1 TIM 5:19-21
“I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality.” 1 Tim 5:21
I love this commentary by Clarke. He says,
“Do not treat any man, in religious matters, according to the rank he holds in life, or according to any personal attachment thou mayest have for him. Every man should be dealt with in the church as he will be dealt with at the judgment-seat of Christ.” with respect to discipline among church leadership.
What a clear principle for those entrusted with the duty of administering discipline to church elders.
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW GOD?
People look at the wrong places to know God. Creation is meant only to point one to the existence of God. Creation can not teach us fully who God is, only the Bible can.
The wisdom that leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus is postulated by the Bible alone. By the Bible, one is equipped with knowledge about who God really is. This knowledge then teaches us how to get saved and how to live after been saved.
This means, God gave us the Bible for a purpose and that purpose is not general but rather specific. The Bible isn't given to teach us all things about life. One can not look to the Bible for fixing a flat tyre of a vehicle, for instance. It does not teach us how to fish, how to go to the moon or how to prepare meals. It is unique, unlike any other literature and meant for the most important purpose; how to be saved and how to live being saved. 2 Tim 3:15-17
THE DEVIL IS REAL, YOU BETTER BELIEVE HE IS.
I love this little poem.
Men don’t believe in a devil now
as their fathers used to do;
They’ve forced the door of the broadest creed
to let his majesty through;
There isn’t a print of his cloven hoof
or a fiery dart from his bow;
To be found in earth or air to-day,
for the world has voted so.
But who is mixing the fatal draft
that palsies heart and brain,
And loads the earth of each passing year,
with ten hundred thousand slain?
Who blights the bloom of the land to-day
With the fiery breath of hell,
If the devil isn’t and never was,
Won’t somebody rise and tell?
Who dogs the steps of the toiling saint
and digs the pit for his feet?
Who sows the tares in the field of time,
wherever God sows His wheat?
The devil is voted not to be,
and of course, the thing is true;
But who is doing the kind of work
the devil alone should do?
We are told he does not go
about as a roaring lion now,
But whom shall we hold responsible
for the everlasting row
To be heard in home, in church, in state,
to the earth’s remotest bound,
If the devil by a unanimous vote
is nowhere to be found?
Won’t somebody step to the front forthwith,
and make his bow and show
How the frauds and the crimes of the day spring up,
for surely we want to know.
The devil was fairly voted out,
and of course, the devil is gone.
But simple folks would like to know,
who carries his business on?
THE AUTHORITY OF PEOPLE IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY
The authority a pastor has doesn't simply comes from the office he holds or from the words he speaks. We have to earn the right to be listened to. If we don't practice what we preach, then what we have to say will be hollow and empty because of inconsistent living.
