LEVELA Is Here! And It’s Here to Stay!
What happens when you bring together leaders, educators, young people and key stakeholders around one important question: How do we equip the next generation to make smarter decisions with money?
The result? Meaningful conversations and the official launch of LEVELA Ghana.
Yesterday at the British Council Ghana , Accra we joined Prudential Life Insurance Ghana (PLIG) for the launch of LEVELA, a financial literacy learning platform developed by the Prudence Foundation to help people better understand money, manage it wisely, build positive financial habits and grow their financial confidence.
The launch brought together key voices from the insurance, education, youth development and financial sectors, including Madam Jane Mingle, CEO of Prudential Life Insurance Ghana; Bernard Ohemeng-Baah, Deputy Commissioner at the National Insurance Commission; Dr. Emmanuel Newman , Director of Tertiary Education at the Ministry of Education; Josiah Lomotey, Head of National Volunteer Service, Standards and Enforcement at the National Service Authority; and Joshua Mensah, Director of Young Investor Network.
From the official unveiling of LEVELA to stakeholder messages, an engaging platform demonstration, cultural performances and a thought-provoking conversation on why financial literacy matters for young adults, professionals and entrepreneurs, the event highlighted one thing clearly:
Financial literacy is no longer a nice-to-have. It is a life skill.
