(The Journey of Patience and Faith)
Patience is often seen as a virtue, but until you truly understand why you should be patient, it can feel more like a burden than a gift. We all have desires, plans, and dreams we want to see fulfilled. We want things to go our way and on our timeline. But, until we draw closer to God and seek to understand His ways, we can miss the beauty of patience. Rushing ahead without trusting His timing often leads to unnecessary struggle.

I remember the frustration I felt after high school, not understanding why I was home teaching instead of diving straight into medical school. I questioned why my path seemed delayed, why I had to wait. But now, looking back, I see that season as essential preparation. Those days of teaching helped shape my purpose and prepared me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. It was through that experience that I began to understand patience as a process, not just a waiting room.

Life has brought challenges—moments of failure, times of shame, and periods of struggle. I’ve faced embarrassment, had to ask for help when I wanted to stand on my own, and endured seasons of difficulty that felt never-ending. Yet, through it all, I’ve come to realize that every tough moment had a purpose. Those experiences strengthened me, refined me, and drew me closer to God. They showed me the resilience I didn’t know I had and the grace that only God can give.

The best gift you can give yourself is a deep, personal relationship with God. Seek to know Him for yourself, not just through what others say. When you understand His ways, His timing, and His purpose for your life, you’ll find a peace that transcends understanding. It’s a beautiful journey to walk with God, and there is nothing sweeter than discovering His love and faithfulness along the way.

I hope this reflects your heart and journey well. 15/10/2024
